2023 Summer Season Info!
Hello CCV Vikings!
Mark your calendars for the first restaurant day/night of the 2023 season and to celebrate registration opening on April 1! Bad Daddy's Landmark location is hosting a fundraiser for us all day on Thursday, March 30. Twenty percent of all of their sales that day will come back to the team, so please support the Vikings whether you dine in or carry out!
Swim team registration will open April 1. Please look around the website for our meet schedule and a lot more information.
There will be a family informational meeting on Sunday, April 23 in the new community room! We will talk about the season, volunteer requirements, and there will be an opportunity to try on our new team suit for sizing purposes, so children are welcome to join!

About CCV Swim Team
Cherry Creek Vista Vikings Swim Team is a fun and community oriented summer swim team that participates in the Rocky Mountain Swim League. CCV is located in the Denver Tech Center area and draws swimmers from all over the surrounding communities. It is considered an "open" team in the league which means that any family that joins the CCV pool whether in district or out of district is eligible to join the swim team. CCV Pool Status
The next CCV Park and Rec District Board Meeting will be held on April 20th at 5:30pm in the new CCV Pool Community Room!

Orchard Pool Update - March 28
The District’s Board is anticipating opening the new pool facility ON TIME for the 2023 summer season. Public pool opening date will be on Friday May 26th.
You may have noticed activity at the pool has begun once again. Health and Fire inspections are moving forward in the coming weeks. Shade structure removal, emergency exit lighting, signage installation, light pole foundation preparation, and emergency lighting upgrades have been completed. Light poles and new shade umbrellas are en-route to the facility and will be installed shortly after they arrive.

Early pool facility start-up activities are planned this season, which will ensure all equipment and facilities are working properly in advance of swim team practices and public opening. These start-up activities will begin in mid-April, pending TCO approval.
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) will be requested when inspections are successfully completed.

2023 Pool Season Membership and Rental Update
Registration and rental reservations on the District’s CivicRec site will be available April 12, 2023. Rental reservations will be made available for the beginning of May, pending any changes to schedule.

The District continues to complete each step in finalizing approvals, installation and inspections for the facility and will announce opening date for the Community Room reservations, as soon as an occupancy date is known (prior to the regular pool opening date).
