Coaches in Training (CIT)
The Cherry Creek Vista Vikings Swim Team is looking for Coaches in Training (CITs) for the summer season!
This volunteer program is geared towards CCV young teenagers/high-school aged swimmers as an opportunity to experience team coach-like interactions by providing help and support in various ways throughout the season. Through hands-on interactions and day-to-day involvement, CIT’s will gain essential skills and experience in the role as a coach and leader.
We are looking for CITs who:
- Are filled with a passion for swimming
- Enjoy working with kids of all ages
- Have strong communication skills
- Possess a solid knowledge of the technical aspects of swimming
- Possess leadership skills and the ability to work closely with all coaching staff
- Are available to attend practices, clinics, activities and meets during the season
- Are in a minimum of 8th grade
